Step by Step Installation guide:

Single-Channel Installation

1. Preparation:

  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off, and the key is removed from the ignition.
  • Locate the DieselTronic unit and the provided wiring harness.

2. Locate the Fuel Rail Sensor:

  • Open the engine bay and identify the common rail pressure sensor. This is usually located on the engine's fuel rail.

3. Connect the Wiring Harness:

  • Bypass the existing fuel rail sensor connector.
  • Attach the DieselTronic wiring harness between the common rail sensor and the vehicle wiring connector. This acts as a bridge.

4. Secure the DieselTronic Module:

  • Mount the module securely in a location away from extreme heat or moving parts (e.g., the side of the engine bay).
  • Use zip ties or double-sided adhesive tape as required.

5. Route the Wiring:

  • Ensure the wiring harness is routed neatly and securely. Avoid contact with hot engine components or sharp edges.

6. Power Connection:

  • For some models, connect the DieselTronic unit to a power source as specified in the manual.

7. Test the Installation:

  • Start the engine and check for any error codes or unusual behavior.
  • Use the provided remote or switch to toggle between the 4 Driving Modes.

Dual-Channel Installation

1. Follow Single-Channel Steps:

  • Perform all steps for the single-channel installation first (fuel rail sensor connection).

2. Locate the Turbo Boost Sensor:

  • Identify the turbo boost pressure sensor, usually located near the intercooler or turbocharger.

3. Connect the Turbo Sensor Harness:

  • Disconnect the turbo boost sensor connector.
  • Attach the DieselTronic wiring harness between the turbo sensor and the disconnected vehicle wiring connector.

4. Secure and Route the Additional Wiring:

  • Mount the additional wiring neatly, ensuring it is secure and away from heat or sharp objects.

5. Adjust the Module Settings:

  • Some dual-channel systems may require initial configuration or calibration based on the vehicle model. Follow the instructions provided in the manual.

6. Final Testing:

  • Start the engine and test both channels.
  • Use the control unit or remote to toggle between the 4 Driving Modes.
